This is a brief tutorial to downgrade the 1.1.1 to 1.0.2. Combined with anySIM, this can un-brick your alread-bricked (due to wrong upgrading from unlocked 1.0.2 to 1.1.1) and make it working as before.

1. Downgrade the firmware to 1.0.2.

2. Jailbreak and activate the downgraded phone.

3. Install the following packages on the activated phone:

- BSD Subsystem
- OpenSSH
- anySIM

4. Download the following needed files (at the end of this article) and extract into /reflash on iPhone:

- ICE03.14.08_G.eep (can be extracted from ramdisk)
- ICE03.14.08_G.fls (can be extracted from ramdisk)
- bbupdater (can be extracted from ramdisk)
- ieraser
- secpack of 04.01.13_G

5. Make sure WiFi works and log into iPhone, then enter the following commands:

cd /reflash
chmod 755 bbupdater ieraser
launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
./ieraser
./bbupdater -f *fls -e *eep
launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

Your modem should now be downgraded to 1.0.2, use ‘bbupdater -v’ to check it. Now you may use anySIM to unlock the phone.

Note:

1. This method will salvage your bricked 1.1.1 phone, it fully downgraded the firmware as well as the modem, but the corrupted area caused by anySIM will not be resolved.

2. This method can also be used on an original 1.1.1 phone, but after the unlock, some NVRAM data may be corrupted and in case it does it will result in a bricked phone if you upgrade to 1.1.1 thereafter. This is an known-issue caused by improper unlocking method used by anySIM.
