Mails From A Fraud Victim

I have nothing to do with your purchase. I have nothing to do with any site that sells iLiberty+ or other unlocking applications. My official domain is: insideiphone.com (I no longer use zjlotto.com since May 2008).

Recently I have received quite some emails complaining about their puchases. In short, they didn’t know iLiberty+ is freeware and bought it from some fraud site (one of which is www.unlocksiphone.com) and thougt I’m the owner of that fraud site. The following is one of the mails I have received:

From: George Mindrinos

the program try to go to recovery mode and
stuck.i have 3g iphone v.2.
the site says can unlockit and i paid.then the site redirects to you.finally can you help me or
is a cheat.
thanks in advance
george

My reply:

Sigh……Why can’t people read properly ? I have put a clear
clarification on my blog which says iLiberty+ can NOT
jailbreak/activate/unlock 3G/2.0.

Now the guy’s pissed off (I filtered some dirty words):

From: George Mindrinos

It seems that although you are coming from a country with big
history as mine (Greece) you are a clever to take money from nothing, because
the site is yours and all redirections and info is for your email.
Perhaps you took a lot of money from other fools like me,
I hope you spend them in cancer at hospitals *******!!

Okay I gotta agree I was angry at his mail, so I replied him an angry mail. Later I got more curses:

From: George Mindrinos

Listen chinse ****, I can read quite well but after paying at your site
www,unlocksiphone.com 29,95 euros redirected everything to you ,to your
name.if its fake go out and write to blogs and forums.
Not wait to be paid first and then say its free, what afun.
And you are lucky little Chinese ******* because 15 days ago I was in
Guangtzu to my friend Holden Zhu where I took the phone,I could go to the
Police to **** you not for my 29 euros but all the others you took from
other fools like me.
And look I have areal name and ia m writing to you.
What is your real name little shit? George Zhu ?
I will write tonight to all blogs and forums who are you and
www.unlocksiphone.com
Die from cancer Chinese ****?

I have to agree at least the guy’s correct on one thing: he’s a fool. For those of you who thought I’m the owner of the fraud site, here is my disclaimer:

I have nothing to do with your purchase. I have nothing to do with any site that sells iLiberty+ or other unlocking applications. My official domains are: zjlotto.com and insideiphone.com.

Stop sending me stupid mails crying you paid for iLiberty+ because it’s not my business.
Stop sending me stupid mails asking why iLiberty+ doesn’t unlock you 3G/2.0, read FAQ and use Google.

    真不明白那个网站怎么拿别人的程序来赚钱,
    更不明白怎么会有愚蠢的人竟然相信且花钱去买!

    最重要的是,对于愚蠢的人,不能低估其愚蠢的程度!

This Greek guy is so funny. He is obviously an iPhone newbie and did not do his homework. Everyone knows that iLiberty is freeware. And then he started getting racist too?! WTF???

Wonder whether he has the guts to apologize?

    @maoai,

Wonder whether he has the guts to apologize?

I highly doubt that, he just disappeared, maybe on his way going back to Mars ?

I purchased iLiberty+ 1.3.0.113 at this website [globaliphoneunlock.com] I tried to use it to unlock my iPhone [running firmware version 2.0.1 on iTunes 7.7.1.11]. At one point i had an access violation@address 10001B45 ‘IOtunesMobileDevice.Dll’ read of address 00000024. I can’t get this program to work. I have restored the iphone 18+ times and every time I try to get Iliberty to work, it gets disconnected from the phone when trying to put phone into recovery mode. As of today, I have tried contacting someone at globaliphoneunlock, through their supposed link http://www.globaliphoneunlock.com
But to no avail. Can you reply to me at my email and give me some kind of advice as to what can be done? I am clueless, pennyless and frustrated but still open to suggestions thanks for your time. Jesse online email me here [writemehere619@hotmail.com]

I need some help. I have the old iPhone and used iLiberty+ to put it into recovery mode and now it’s just stuck in recovery mode. I’ve restored it and repeated the process several times but it always comes back to this step. What should I do?

I have downloaded iliberty and the unlock went really well with it. But i get the youtube can not connect. I have tried both of the fixes. I read to restore using itunes but that version makes me have to update at the same time and will make me have to get 2.0.1, so my question is, is there any other fix for the youtube. And if not is there a different program that can unlock 2.0.1 that is free software? Anyone’s help would really be appreciated. Thank You

    Hello all,
interesting post!!! I am ashamed to say that I was scammed to by the same site :-( in all fairness, they are good! the problem is that they do not say at all in the site that the software they are selling is iLiberty or else i would have known. but needles to say i went for the quick fix rather than waiting for the pros to publish it on the regular blogs and forums as usual.

If any one else here purchased through paypal, please file a complaint through your paypall account so that they would take there logo out.

finally, my 5 cents into this :-) If anyone here got his iphone stuck in boot loader mode, you can download firmware 2.0.1, or 2.0.2, from http://www.iphone-hacks.com/downloads/file/128, connect the iphone to itunes ignore the complaint about resetting your phone press shift then reset and browse for the firmware you downloaded. you will have your phone bake up in no time.

    sorry for the long post

Amazing that after all the words on this website saying “its free” “it does not work with 2.0.X” people still post saying “i have used iLibery+ on my 3G 2.0.x phone and its not working, you must help me, because a fraud site has linked to your legit site it must be your fault”

You deserve a medal for putting up with it all.

The greek guy needs finding and shooting for the good of mankind in case he breeds, clearly from the shallow end of the gene pool.

Anyway to all the people here for 2.0.x:-

    1. Read again the bits on the screen explaining that iLibery+ is only for 1.1.4 or lower.
    2. Google winpwn and be happy, its very very simple and works.
    3. leave this poor man alone!

    Regards to all.

    Big Gav.
